We walked into this nice little place my wife picked out to go to and said it was a top pick of hers. So we walk on to the mid noise level place, and the owner, Gabi greets us as we walk in. And asked us if we want to sit in the front or back of the restaurant. we picked a spot out front in a full house restaurant at 2 pm. after lunch on a Friday! I was so excited to feel the vibe in the place while writing my review. We went with the Shakshuka with veggies and goat cheese. That was a mouth full of Mediterranean flavors! So delicious! We followed up with the Berrylicious Pain Perdu. We could not decide on the Mascapon or the Nutella, so we went with both. 0MG, a must try! better than dessert but a place where you can really enjoy a meal.

Super neighborhoody breakfast spot. Extremely friendly vibe with fantastic servers that make this spot a very chill easy place to grab a fantastic breakfast. You'll find traditional American breakfast items along with Mediterranean items. The French toast is fantastic! I'm not even a French toast person but found this to be delectable! The bananas were cooked and caramelized making this feel like one of my favorite desserts--banana Foster's!

Really great food for brunch. Came and split 3 dishes with some girlfriends. Every dish we ordered was good. Chai latte was amazing as well. They are efficient with service here. They try to have tables flipped fast, so they seat you quickly, take orders fast and then give you the check quickly after you eat.

Cute quaint brunch restaurant. Their claim to fame is brunch served all day. We went around lunch time during the week and were able to get a table right way. Was initially turn off as menu indicated no substitutions and due to dietary issues some of the ingredients I needed omitted but they were more than willing to accommodate. Food was delicious and a unique blend of Parisian and Mediterranean. The marriage of these two cuisines gave it a unique and delicious flavor. Service was quick and wait staff were friendly. Parking looked like it could be an issue but where in Philly isn't it an issue but we opted for a Ride share. Would highly recommend this Cafe for Brunch

Went here after my sister's graduation. It was about an hr wait for 8 people. There was seating area outside as well. It was small inside but cute. They only have 1 bathroom, which had long line each time. We ordered the shawarma, cordon bleu, petit steak and steak sandwich. The food was great.

Unique Foods. Friendly Staff. Great atmosphere. I really enjoyed my time at Cafe La Maude. This place caters French/Lebanese cuisine and it's delicious. Brisket Huevos was a great filling meal! I am definitely coming back here again. I hope you find this helpful. Have a great day.

LOVED coming here for brunch. Service was friendly and fast, and our party of four was seated fairly quickly outside on a weekend (9:45-10am ish). You must order the green shakshuka (divine) and baklawa pancakes when you come here. I'm not normally into super sweet breakfasts so I was hesitant to order the pancakes, but they were the perfect amount of sweet without being overwhelming or heavy. My only warning is that some of the dishes are more spiced than the descriptions let on (the eggs benedict, for example). If you have a lower spice tolerance, I'd double check with the server before you order. The inside of the restaurant is a bit chaotic but looked cute. Outdoor seating was covered (and sealed off and heated, since it was cold out when I went) on a fairly calm street. Can't wait to come back here!

As usual, one of the best food and service in Philly! Love that they serve brunch until 4 PM unlike so many other places that close by 2 PM. The food came within 10-15 minutes of ordering. The hot chocolate was delicious as always! Tried the baklava pancakes and mediterranean platter for the first time and was equally blown away by both. Honestly wasn't expecting the platter to be that good! The chicken shawarma paired with cilantro flavored rice and sweet potatoes was chef's kiss! They somehow managed to make something as simple as scrambled eggs worthy of mentioning. Baklava pancakes totally lives up to the hype! You would think it would be extremely sweet but on the contrary, the flavor was balanced as the whipped cream on that huge stack of pancakes. The food and hospitality easily make this establishment one of my top choices for a weekend brunch.

My wife and I came here before a musical at the Kimmel center. She decided on it based off of good reviews found on Google and Yelp. We were not disappointed! Parking was a little tough but it didn't take long to find a close spot. The neighborhood looked decent, unlike most other areas of the city where I feel like my car will be broken into for spare change. The lattes were delicious. They came to us hot, which can be hard to find surprisingly. I ordered the Shawarma, which came with steak, rice, pita, sweet potato fries, and scrambled eggs. She ordered the Entrecôte omelet. The potatoes were amazing. We also split an order of the Baklawa pancakes. Everything was delicious. The avocado tartar spread on my plate went so well with the rice and eggs. We would definitely like to come back here!

Cafe La Maude is one of the most solid brunch options in all of Philadelphia, which you can tell from the long lines (no reservations) by 10am on the weekends. The common question.. is it worth it? Hard for me to say - because I rarely ever find anything worth waiting for than 30 minutes even the best food.. so what I offer instead are the tips of arriving early, as I've never had to wait longer than 15 minutes as long as I arrive before 10am on any given day. The food is worth the price IMO, especially with BYOB if you consume alcohol. Service is quick, friendly, very efficient as they're trying to turn over multiple tables! I ordered the green shakshuka last time which was a flavor bomb - such good acidity, cut by the creaminess of the goat cheese, and lovely textures between the seeds and toasted bread, contrasted with that delicious shakshuka sauce. My entire family enjoyed all of their dishes including the Chicken Cordon Bleu, Petit Steak, and the N-Liberties Now the question of .. is it worth it, especially for tourists and visitors.. I say.. maybe? I think it's worth it especially if you're staying near the neighborhood. Parking can be tough, and you may be waiting 30-60 minutes depending on when you arrive. Personally, I don't think I'd go out of my way for this but I'm also not a "brunch person" and I think there are plenty of delicious brunch and other food options all over the city. Hope this helps, and happy eating out there!
